The project I have worked the most on during my internship is Rolf Connect. Rolf Connect is a product created for the Rolf Group. The company I was having my internship at was in charge of creating an app for this company. The final product consisted of an app on a tablet or computer, a hub and blocks that connect with the hub. For this project, I was tasked with making renders, characters and animations.
The app itself is made for elementary school children and is meant to teach them simple mathematics or calculations. There are multiple minigames in the app that will teach the children the different kinds of maths. For example, this could be adding, subtracting or dividing.
The character that I had to created had to be based on the logo that the client has. Using the logo, I created a small blond haired girl who is the coach inside of the app. The coach will be available to help the player if he or she is stuck in a certain level. Aside from this character, I also had to create two other character to support the main character.
These characters also have multiple animations created for them to give them more character and make them interact with the children that are playing the game.
